Hearing rumours

Since I had been changed I knew exactly what happened to my Aunt Becca, I was looking for her, I needed to know so much about what I was and I heard she was living in a pretty big coven. I could pick up lots of vampire scents but I wasn't sure which one or if one even was her. I followed scents day and night for the right one, I found one that had nearly every scent I had picked up heading for a big house, I thought I would give it a go as it smelt as if vampires were living there.

I was sat in the forest with my sisters. Well I was trying to find my sisters. They took to the trees so I couldn't find them. I came across a new scent. It was a vampire. I knew that. I followed it until I found a blonde girl. Something in my human memories rang a bell but I couldn't locate it.

I could feel something looking at me, I hated people looking at me. I leapt into a tree to get a clear look at what was going on. I found a blonde girl, She looked really familiar. I leapt down from the tree and went over to her.

I searched my brain for the girl. I found her in a distant, clouded memory. I trawled through her head for her intentions. I jumped back a half-step in surprise. "Holly?" I asked.

"Becca?!?!?!?" I said jumping up and down in excitement.

I threw my arms around her neck, hugging her. I pulled back as I realised something. "You- You're.. A vampire?"

I put my arms around her neck, "Yes" I said and sighed stepping back and looking at the ground.

"When?" I asked, reaching out to touch her arm.

"A couple of decades ago I think, I don't remember much of my past" I said still smiling but still looking at the ground.

I pulled her into another hug. My sister, I'd accepted that I'd lost her about fifty years ago when I was changed. "God, Holl, I've missed you!"

I've missed you too, I knew what had happended to you when I was changed so I came looking for you" I explained.

"You've been looking for me for fifty something years??" I asked, feeling bad, my right hand playing with my wedding ring.

"Yes" I said looking at her hands and lifting one eyebrow.

I saw in her head her past memories. I shook my head and followed her gaze, flipping my hand over and then back. "What?"

"What's that on your finger?" I asked grinning.

"Oohhhhh." I laughed, my thoughts drifting to Edward. "Yes, it's a wedding ring."

"Really, Do you have any... gifts?" I asked smiling.

"I can see every past thought you've ever had." I smiled, before her sentence was finished. I took her hand. "Come on, you have to come meet my family."

"Your family?" I asked shuddering at the thought.

I smiled sweetly. "Yes. My family. The people who created me and my in-laws." I fluttered my fingers.

"Oh" I said smiling.

I smiled and tugged on her hand. "Come on!"

I smiled as I read her future thoughts and walked with her.

"Hey!" I complained, hearing my thoughts in her head, but grinning. "Hmm. Guess I should've asked you what your gift was."

I smiled, "The opposite to you" I said still smiling.
