"One sec" I said and turned away walking to the office, I needed to get us all signed out.

I half-sat up, still acting. When Rose returned, Zoe was facing away from me. "Rose, where are my pills?" I made a gesture to make her know I was joking but I meant mental pills.

I smiled and grabbed them from her pocket. "Here you go" I said and added, "Are you coming with us?".

She'd thrown me a tube of Smarties? I laughed quietly and hid the packet, shook two into my hand and threw them into my mouth with a shudder that fitted. I shoved the rest into my jeans pocket.
